It is possible to survive at 42 degrees

We awoke to searing heat, temperature rapidly rising to the high of the week, 42 degrees C. Shade is sought at every opportunity as we prepare for our trip to Adelaide. Everything slows down at these temperatures, at least it does for us recently arrived refugees from winter. Our last breakfast in Perth is taken outdoors in the lovely garden of Eleanor and Bernard.

Sheila and Eleanor dig into the yoghurt

We were sad to be leaving Perth but excited at the next phase of our trip, more family, some of whom we haven't seen, in Adelaide.

Goodbye Eleanor and Bernard and thanks again
