Will We, Won't We?

An early and tentative start. Would Grand Central manage to get a crew together to mount their first service of the day? Yesterday it just didn't happen. A first step out of the house suggested that there was a slight thaw in progress and a little wave of optimism ran through the household. Taxi arrived promptly and we found an expectant crowd on the platform who all became heartened at the arrival of the service staff. We left on time and given anything but a total stop to the rail system should reach Heathrow in plenty of time for our onward flight to Hong Kong.

Dawn over Seaham

Bright interesting skies over rough seas accompanied us for the start of our journey, a great day to have got out with a paint brush. Never mind the air of relaxation in the family is now palpable, Sheila believes we might actually make it.
